The Market Day Extravaganza will again be held in Edith Street, stretching from Owen Street towards the River.  The centerpiece of the day will be a huge display of tropical fruits and vegetables orchestrated by the South Johnstone DPI&F.   Food stalls will stretch the entire length of Edith Street, with plenty of taste testing, cooking demonstrations, food preparation demonstrations and much more.    Local produce and cultural delights will abound.  There will be special events and areas for children and entertainment by local community groups.   There will be plenty of shade and plenty of seating.  Canecutter Court will be a general seating area, under canvas.
